Stockalyze Pro

Keeping track of stock price data involves countless calculations, simulations and predictions. If you want to become a better trader, you can use Stockalyze Pro to illustrate stock data in detailed graphs and charts. You can view a rich set of information, for different time periods, define trading systems, customize the appearance of your graphs and much more.

Besides the Pro edition, you can also find Stockalyze Lite, which is free, but it does not provide as many features as Stockalyze Pro. The setup file is only 7.65 MB, so it should not take more than a minute to download and install the software on your computer.

Stockalyze Pro allows you to download stock price data from Yahoo. The software provides a huge amount of symbols, which you can select and download on a separate window. Once they are downloaded, you can generate detailed charts for individual symbols.

Generating a new chart does not take more than a few seconds. While viewing a chart, you may zoom in and out, view the statistics for longer or shorter time periods or switch between different chart types. Additionally, you can insert numerous indicators beneath the main chart. The available indicators are neatly categorized on a tabbed window and you can make a few modifications to individual indicators.

The aforementioned features can be used in Stockalyze Pro, as well as Stockalyze Lite. If you purchase Stockalyze Pro, you will be able to create, edit and manage your own trading systems. A wide range of predefined trading systems can be found on a separate window. When editing or creating a trading system, you may customize one or more trigger signals, for long and short entries as well as long and short exits. Signals can be defined just by selecting three condition operators on a small window.

Another useful feature provided by the software's Pro edition is the possibility of inserting buy and sell markers in the main chart. You can select one of your trading systems, if you want to insert the markers according to a system's criteria. Additionally, you may test your systems for specific symbols and time periods, using loss and profit percentages as stopping conditions. Stockalyze Pro comes with a stock idea finder as well. You can use it to locate securities that meet a trading system's criteria, in one or more downloaded symbols.
